CAMBRIDGE CROSSING 2021 TOUR

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

How do you update investors and internal stakeholders on construction developments to one of Cambride’s largest mixed-use developments?

Boston Virtual Imaging partnered with DivcoWest to produce a narrated tour of Cambridge Crossing, a new mixed-use development in Cambridge, MA.

The client’s need for this video was to provide a first person view of Cambridge Crossing. It was important to educate the viewer on the state of construction for each parcel, as well as what it’s like to experience the development as specific spaces become open to the general public. The video was intended to be viewed by investors, internal stakeholders, and future tenants. The overall timeline for this project was four weeks.

In order to tell this story, Boston Virtual Imaging worked directly with DivcoWest to understand the location and the target audience. We spent a day filming two key stakeholders from DivcoWest employees as they walked the site delivering key discussion points as a narrated voiceover. Aerial and b-roll footage of the park were combined with 2D animated text graphics to support the overall narrative.

My favorite part about this project was spending a day filming with the folks from DivcoWest. With their permission, we were also able to gain access into some never before seen spaces of Cambridge Crossing in order to share their story.
